I have attended many summer schools and conferences namely sequential summer school at 
IIT Delhi (1967); summer school at college of engineering Fermaguddi,Goa (1979) ; conversion 
of waste into wealth at CMRI Dhanbad and many symposiums held in the different 
departments of the institute.

 Basic Electrical Engineering, Electrical Machines, Electrical Power System, High Voltage
  Engineering, Power Electronics, Electrical Measurements etc. Besides this I am having good 
  knowledge of digital logic circuit and  computer. I have been working on computer starting IBM 
  1600 in 1973 to  latest up to date Pentium IV.

Project & thesis
I have supervised and guided hundreds of UG projects as well as PG thesis. A few of them are 
listed below
Static over current time delay relay with auto reclosing once and twice, static under & over 
frequency relay, parallel & bridge inverter (single phase as well as three phase with 
frequency control), speed control of dc motor  using scr, under voltage & over voltage relay, 
liquid level control in over head tank with dry run preventer and so on.

 Other technical and administrative experience
·  Prof. in charge of high voltage lab, electrical machine lab, electrical circuit & 
     measurement lab etc.
·   Chief coordinator of AICTE project (modernization of high voltage lab).
·   Prof. in charge of 11KV substation and transmission & distribution of electrical power 
    in the BIT campus.
·   Prof. in charge of watch and ward (supervising security arrangements in the campus).
·   Prof. in charge of BIT nursery.
·   Member of purchase committee of the institute.
·   Secretary of BIT alumni association.
·   One of the coordinators of celebrating college day functions and annual athletic meet of 
   the institute.

BIT Sindri  
(where I worked for more than 35 years)
 Bihar Institute of Technology, Sindri  known as BIT Sindri is one of the premier 
engineering colleges in India established in 1949 under the department of Sc & 
Technology, Government of Bihar (presently under the Sc & Technology and IT 
Department, Government of Jharkhand). It is a residential institution providing 
accommodation to all students, teaching and non- teaching staff members in the campus, 
which spreads over in about 400 acres.  It runs UG courses in mechanical, electrical, 
electronics & communication, computer science & engineering, information technology, 
production, civil, chemical, metallurgical and mining engineering as well as PG courses 
in electrical, mechanical, civil, chemical and metallurgical engineering. Besides this, there 
are separate departments for physics, chemistry, mathematics, humanities and geology.
